bio
believe it or not, i don’t really like being myself too much online. if i could go back and make myself anonymous in my work, i would. you can always go back the version of me i want to project, since i don’t care too much if it’s a little out of date or gives the wrong impression of who i am now. i’m more worried about being me for my own sake.
for the sake of being authentic, here are some real fun facts about me:
i’m in my mid twenties.
i use lowercase text in an extremely deliberate fashion. i haven’t capitalised anything on this page, that’s because i don’t want to. i basically grew up on skype, discord, groupchats of all shapes and forms, and when you’re arguing a point online (as i tended to do, as an annoying teen), you learn to use every tool in the toolbag, including Extremely Choice Use of Capital Letters. when you’ve freed yourself from grammar, ALL of language can be a tool for emPHAsis.
as a teen, i cut my teeth in half-life 2 modding, and making maps for counter-strike, but then something went very very ary, and i graduated with a B.A. in printmaking. i don’t regret a second of it, except for all the times i do. happens.
i don’t dress with brands visible if i can help it. the fashion term for it is “normcore”, but honestly it’s just cause i’m not walking around being a walking advertisment for you or your brand, unless it’s a swagged out band tee from a band i like. i’ve had enough advertising in my life to kill me already.
i play and write music.

(i’m consciously leaving some of these blank so i can fill them in later on in life. i never want to be the person who thinks they have everything sorted out in the present.)
